A big rich red that we consider one of the best from the Wood Park vineyard. The blackcurrant cassis characters are a true standout and unique for a cool climate Cabernet Sauvignon.
This wine has had an extended French oak maturation for 24 months at our vineyard which has added depth and complexity. Delicious to drink now with excellent cellaring potential for up to ten years.
Our Cabernet Sauvignon comes from carefully selected, hand-picked fruit on the Wood Park home vineyard at Kneebones Gap. The 2015 vintage has seen some stunning reds across the King Valley following a warm and dry summer; perfect conditions for ripening and flavour concentration.
